2021 Collie Club of America National logo

It’s Oscar Time!

Lassie's Hollywood Star.

Hollywood will celebrate the best-of-their-best at the annual Academy Awards presentation on February 28th. It’s only fitting that while we’re in COLLIEWOOD we should follow their lead!

Come and snap a picture on the red carpet with your celebrity collie! Be sure to put your collie’s name on a star on “Colliewood and Vine”! We’ll culminate our weeklong celebration by naming the best-of-the-best of our magnificent collies!

Come for the CCA…make it your Winter Getaway! You know that Southern California weather will be mild, but there’s also many other remarkable things to do while you’re here:

  • Visit Universal Studios or Disneyland
  • Indulge in shopping on Rodeo Drive
  • Find super deals at the Ontario Mills Outlet Mall
  • Walk the Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
  • Snap a selfie in front of the HOLLYWOOD sign
  • Experience colorful Venice Beach
  • Take a limo to Temecula Wine Country and taste fabulous SoCal wines
  • Hike in the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park
  • Spend a day in fabulous Palm Springs
  • Marvel at the RailGiants Train Museum (on the Fairplex campus!)
  • Golf at the Los Sorranos Country Club
  • Tour the NHRA Motorsports Museum (on the Fairplex campus!)

With so much to do and see, the 2021 CCA National will be an experience you’ll remember for years to come!

*The Fairplex and Sheraton host many specialty and all-breed AKC dog shows, including two back-to-back California Collie Clan specialty shows (March 5) and famously, “The Kennel Club of Beverly Hills” Dog Show (the only West Coast show that is taped for broadcast), which will be held at the Fairplex March 6-7, just prior to our National Specialty!
