COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

Community Service Project
We will be supporting two organizations for the 2024 National!
Ronald McDonald House of Central Illinois
Critical care hospitalization of a child is both traumatic and costly. Ronald McDonald Houses provide families with a comfortable place to stay in or near leading hospitals and healthcare services, offering support along their child’s wellness journey.
CCA members can show their support for this charity by participating in our annual National Community Service Project. Simply start collecting pop tabs from any type of can, bring them to the National, and deposit them in our collection container. Tabs can come from:
- Pop/Soda cans
- Alcoholic Beverage cans
- Energy Drink cans
- Pet Food cans
- Soup cans
- Anything with a metallic tab
Donated tabs are recycled for cash that is used to help support families while they stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
Not attending the National? Send your tabs with a friend. Let’s pull together and make this a huge success.

Dream Center Peoria
Dream Center Peoria is a faith-based not-for-profit organization located in downtown Peoria. Its accommodation is the only 24/7 emergency shelter in the area for women, children, and families providing meals, showers, and resources to help guests break the cycle of homelessness.
At the 2019 National our members provided an overwhelming number of articles to support this organization. The Center was grateful and excited to hear we are again going to offer our support as part of our annual Community Service Project. We will list the greatest hygiene item needs here in early 2024 when we get closer to the week of National.
